Neocaridina Denticulata is herbivorous in nature, will graze constantly around the tank. They prefer a well planted tank, and moss or Riccia will provide them with a snack, they will also take crumbled algae wafers, frozen bloodworms or brineshrimp, catfish tablets, blanched spinach, and zucchini and shrimp pellets.  

Neocaridina Denticulata is a small peaceful shrimp. It is best not kept with other Neocaridinas (due to crossbreeding) or aggressive or nippy fish. However, it is fine companion to other community life.
