Caridina sp. Gold Spot is herbivorous in nature, will graze constantly around the tank. They prefer a well planted tank, and moss or Riccia will provide them with a snack, they will also take crumbled algae wafers, catfish tablets, blanched spinach, and zucchini and shrimp pellets.
Caridina sp. Gold Spot shrimp are found in rivers and streams in Thailand. Translucent body, these shrimp will display 5-7 spots that glow vibrantly. Females will display brownish bands in addition to the spotting. Peaceful and fairly social. A beautiful shrimp, especially noticeable in well planted tanks. Caridina sp. Gold Spot is a small peaceful shrimp. It can be kept with all community life, but should not be kept with other Caridinia species (crossbreed). |
