Caridina Parvula

This shrimp was found in the Sulawesi, Indonesia Expedition. It is Endemic to the Malili lake system; widespread in Lakes Matano and Towuti, with some specimens observed in the Petea and Tominanga Rivers, but none reported in Lake Mahalona. In the wild it is a hard substrate dweller (rocks) and can be found on or under small rocks and between boulders.
Caridina Parvula is herbivorous in nature, will graze constantly around the tank. They will eat algae wafers or a crushed flake, or shrimp pellets.
