Caridina Masapi

This shrimp was found in the Sulawesi, Indonesia Expedition. It is Endemic to the Malili lake system; widely distributed in the lakes and rivers. It is also the only species to occur in Lakes Masapi and Lontoa. In the wild it is found on mixed substrates, but mainly soft substrate and leaf litter.
Caridina Masapi is herbivorous in nature, will graze constantly around the tank. They will eat algae wafers or a crushed flake, or shrimp pellets. Caridina Maspai enjoys the company of other shrimp including those outside of its speices. It is safe for all community life. |
