Caridina Lingkonae

This shrimp was found in the Sulawesi, Indonesia Expedition. It is Endemic to the Malili lake system; widely distributed in Lake Towuti, specimens also caught in Lake Mahalona. In the wild it is found on various kinds of substrates including rocks (gravel to boulders), wood, and leaf litter.
Caridina Lingkonae is herbivorous in nature, will graze constantly around the tank. They will eat algae wafers or a crushed flake, or shrimp pellets. Caridina Lingkonae enjoys the company of other shrimp including those outside of its speices. It is safe for all community life. |
