Caridina Lanceolata

This shrimp was found in the Sulawesi, Indonesia Expedition. It is Endemic to the Malili lake system; occurring in all three major lakes (Lake Matano, Towuti, and Mahalona) and connecting rivers. In the wild it is found on various kinds of substrates including rocks (gravel to boulders), wood, and leaf litter.
Caridina Lanceolata is herbivorous in nature, will graze constantly around the tank. They will eat algae wafers or a crushed flake, or shrimp pellets. Caridina Lanceolata enjoys the company of other shrimp including those outside of its speices. It is safe for all community life. |
