Caridina Glaubrechti
|
This shrimp was found in the Sulawesi, Indonesia Expedition. It is Endemic to Lake Towuti in the Malili lake system. In the wild it is a hard substrate dweller (rocks) typically found on or under small rocks and between boulders.
Caridina Glaubrechti is herbivorous in nature, will graze constantly around the tank. They will eat algae wafers or a crushed flake, or shrimp pellets. Caridina Glaubrechti is not a shy species at all. It seems to enjoy being out in the open frequently and is not afraid if you approach the tank. It is also a solitary shrimp, it does not gather in groups and it is uncommon to see even two together. It is safe for all community life. |
