Caridina Caerulea

This shrimp was found in the Sulawesi, Indonesia Expedition. It is Endemic to Lake Poso in the Malili lake system. In the wild it is a hard substrate dweller (wood and rocks) but occasionally is found on soft substrate as well.
Caridina Caerulea is herbivorous in nature, will graze constantly around the tank. They will eat algae wafers or a crushed flake, or shrimp pellets. Caridina Caerulea enjoys the company of other shrimp including those outside of its speices. It is safe for all community life. |
